LaunchControl is a comprehensive launchd GUI that allows you to effortlessly create, manage, and troubleshoot system and user services on your Mac. With LaunchControl, you can easily view all services and their statuses in one place, quickly identifying any invalid services with provided problem descriptions. Enabling or disabling services, as well as loading, unloading, and starting them on-the-fly, can be done with just a single click. You can also filter through a long list of jobs by name or other properties to quickly locate what you need. Unlike other .plist editors, LaunchControl offers dedicated interfaces for each launchd configuration key, displaying only relevant information for the selected job. While the default mode supports all documented features, you also have the option to switch to 'Expert Mode' for unofficial features. Both modes are fully synchronized, so any changes made in one editor will be instantly reflected in the other. Save time troubleshooting job issues with LaunchControl's thorough analysis capabilities, which can pinpoint problems and provide solutions quickly. The tool offers most functionalities of the launchctl command line utility, allowing you to create, edit, remove, and debug launch services with ease. Additionally, LaunchControl includes a built-in log viewer, eliminating the need to use Console.app and creating custom queries.
